Invitation/Admit Card Download 26.02.2023 (07.40 p.m onwards)

The eligible graduates/post graduates (Medalists) who completed their programmes of study by May 2020 and Ph.D. scholars who completed their Viva Voce between January 2020 and 22nd February 2023 shall be admitted into this forthcoming 29th Convocation of the Pondicherry University.

Rank Holders / Gold Medalists and Ph.D scholars will be awarded the Degree In-person. Those eligible and are willing to attend the Convocation In-person may register their names online and make payment of fee of ₹ 500/- (Registration fees will not be refunded)

NOTE:

1. * Ph.D. scholars who have so far not paid the prescribed Fee for the Degree Certificate are requested to pay the prescribed fees of ₹ 1,000/- in addition to the Registration fees i.e. Total ₹ 1500/-
2. * Ph.D. Scholars who have already obtained their Degree Certificates under Tatkal scheme are not allowed to appear In-person

Fees shall be paid through Online (Net Banking/UPI/NEFT/RTGS) to the following account:

All other candidates shall be admitted 'In-absentia' and their Degree Certificates shall be sent by post to their respective Institutions / Departments soon after the Convocation

Invitation/Admit Card and necessary Instructions to be followed while attending the Convocation ceremony shall be downloaded from the University portal which will be notified later .

Academic Robes shall be available near the Convocation venue for Rent on payment of ₹ 100. A Security Deposit (refundable) of ₹ 500/- shall also be paid. A stole shall be provided by the University to be worn along with Academic robe. The stole is a souvenir for the Medallists/Degree Awardees.

Medalists/ Ph.D. Scholars who are registered to appear In-person at the Convocation must bring their

• * ORIGINAL ID carrying photo (either Aadhar Card or Voter ID or Driving License or Passport)
• * along with a copy of the downloaded Invitation/Admit Card & Instructions

Admission will be denied into the Convocation Hall for those fail to produce the above proof.
